Ugbelle Proudly Hosts the 2025 ORAUSA Free Medical Mission, In Ideato South LGA
🌍💙 From free medical care to full community support—Ugbelle showed up.💙🌍
On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, the peaceful and hospitable community of Ugbelle in Ideato South LGA stood tall as it proudly hosted the 2025 ORAUSA Free Medical Mission—a remarkable day of healing, compassion, culture, and unity.
This life-changing outreach was made possible through a well-articulated proposal championed by two proud daughters of the soil: Mrs. Ijeoma Eze-Adenka (Nwa Eze P) and Mrs. Ngozi Imebuogu (Nwa Eze P). Their passion, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to the wellbeing of Ndi Ugbelle played a pivotal role in bringing this impactful mission home.
🌅Warm & Colorful Welcome
From the early hours of the morning, Ugbelle came alive. The ORAUSA FREE medical team was received with joy, songs, and dance by a vibrant women’s cultural group—setting the tone for a truly memorable day. The venue was fully prepared ahead of time, allowing medical services to begin promptly and efficiently.

ORAUSA was formally welcomed by the Ugbelle Traditional ruler, HRH Eze Richard Okoro and his cabinet members, Ugbelle President General, Chief The Hon Stanley Chinedu Enwereaku, JP (Ebubedike), and St Mary’s Catholic Church, Ugbelle’s Rev. Fr. Kingsley Emejuru.

🩺Healthcare with Heart
Throughout the day, hundreds of community members benefited from free medical consultations, health screenings, medications, and health education, all delivered by dedicated ORAUSA medical professionals. While waiting, patients were treated to a cultural performance by the Uhualla Ukwu Ugbelle Ekeleke Dance group, led by their chairman, Agbahiwe Clifford Uchechukwu, which reflected the pride, unity, and rich heritage of Ugbelle.

🎒Investing in the Future
Beyond healthcare, the mission extended to education and community welfare. Children in attendance received school supplies, generously donated by Mrs. Ngozi Imebuogu and Mrs. Ijeoma Eze-Adenka, reinforcing the belief that caring for the next generation is essential to sustainable development.
🍽️ Ugbelle Hospitality at Its Best
No gathering in Ugbelle is complete without exceptional hospitality. The Free Medical Mission team and volunteers enjoyed a rich spread of local delicacies, including abacha, ukwa, roasted yam with ugbaka sauce, and assorted soups such as oha (uha), egusi, Uzisa, and okra, served with semo, akpu (cassava), and pounded yam.
Additional options included white rice with stew, porridge yams, alongside shawarma and pepper soup, assorted fruits (Udara, apples, Banana, watermelon, etc) as appetizers. Refreshments flowed freely—palm wine, malt, and assorted minerals—ensuring everyone was well cared for. Everyone in the crowd was also served water and Jollof rice with meat. (Lunch was catered by Mrs. Blessing Duru, whose thoughtful arrangements ensured the medical team enjoyed a well-deserved and memorable lunch experience—an expression of deep appreciation for their selfless service and dedication.)

As the day drew to a close, the spirit of gratitude and celebration continued. In the evening, Mrs. Ijeoma Eze-Adenka and Mrs. Ngozi Imebuogu hosted the ORAUSA Free Medical Mission team to a lavish, grand-style dinner at Chili’s Restaurant, Owerri.

It was a well-deserved moment of relaxation, appreciation, and fellowship—honoring the tireless medical professionals whose compassion and dedication made the mission a resounding success. ✨🍽️
🤝🏿Community Support & Generous Donations
The remarkable success of the mission was powered by the tireless efforts of local volunteers from Ugbelle, working hand in hand with the diaspora and Ideato South supporters. Leadership on the ground was spearheaded by the Ugbelle President General, Chief The Hon. Stanley Chinedu Enwereaku JP (Ebubedike), alongside Sir Barr. Duruobisiri Val Eze (KSC), and the spiritual guidance of Rev. Fr. Kingsley Emejuru of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Ugbelle.

Strong coordination by dedicated committees ensured seamless execution—from planning to patient flow and security. These included the Planning Committee chaired by Chief The Hon. Stanley Chinedu Enwereaku; Entertainment Committee led by Nneoma Florence Nwadike; Line & Queue Management chaired by Nze Uzoma Ekweogu; Publicity Committee led by Apostle Chinedu Obinali; Sanitation Committee chaired by Cmr. Uche Michael Ogbuji; and Security Committee, again under the leadership of Chief The Hon. Stanley Chinedu Enwereaku.
This collective effort was further strengthened by the generosity of UgbelleAka USA and the unwavering support of members of ORAUSA from Ideato South members, whose financial contributions and moral backing ensured the mission ran smoothly and successfully.
